finally, we're at the end of the 4 day feast. met up with yan, des n ch, and dinner was at taka's coca steamboat. ordered the usual fare - dumplings, balls, meat fillets.. and the soup base tasted better (sweeter and saltier) towards the end.. its nice eating steamboat in an aircon environment, but des was sweating cuz the air was blowing steam in his direction. poor thing. and as CH was still hungry after steamboat, we adjourned to swensen's for part 2. DONT go swensen when its ur bday.. unless u want strangers singing you bday song, giving you a balloon and ice cream. thanks ah!! HAHA but still, it was super funny. =) and here, i must thank you guys for ur present as well. love it, cuz i chose one wad. muahah.

15th oct - bday 3
it was a very simple dinner affair with my family.. short and sweet. haha and i got to choose where to go for makan. after 2 days of heavy eating, i decided that day 3 has to be a non-buffet meal. went for steaks instead, and thats not exactly a "light" meal too. HAHA. my poor dad jus re-did his teeth filling, and he can only chew using his left side. awww. poor thing. but at at least i think he enjoyed his food as much as i did. =) yay. no pictures - cuz my mom made some really farnie faces. not for public viewing! heh
14th oct - bday 2
on the 14th, it is round 2 for bday makan with lucy and jack. we met up at vivo city at 4pm. FREAKIN many pple. the furthest i ventured to was jus the entrance to vivo city, and we decided to go paragon instead. muahah. quite farnie, cuz i took 963 all the way there, to head off to orchard instead. dinner was at soup restaurant. my first visit there, and certainly it would be my last. there are so many items that sounded so nice!! but since they are only 3 of us, we definitely wouldnt be able to finish eh. their shop specialty was the ginger chicken dish. if u go there, u must try it. deelicious!
it was fun meeting up, catching up with gossips and updates. (right right?) after makan, we went over to tcc for desserts. 3 drinks + 4 slices of cakes. it was a very sinful night. and lastly, i wanna say a very big thank you for the bday card and the nike bag.
13th oct - bday 1
birthdays are always a good excuse to meet up with frens and feast. i've been feasting the past 2 days so far. =) really nice of u guys to make time out for me, accompanying me cross the dreadful 22nd line. i still feel like a kid - an 18 yr old one to be exact. muahah. living in denial i know.
on friday the 13th, i had my first bday celebration with yan, zd, jj and ch at suntec's korean restaurant.. thanks for the beautiful collage - digitally made by yan, and zd, jj, ch - who brought it to the shop for printing and framing. the food was yummilicious, that is if u like spicy and sour food. love the ikan bilis and kimchi! we ordered chicken, pork and beef, which the waitress bbq them in front of us. we ordered 1 pot of seafood noodle soup, also prepared in front of us. and lastly, yan and i shared a bowl of kimchi rice fried with oyster. (ironically... both of us don't eat oyster.. =p) but im telling you.. the food is GOOD. haha and that explains y i had only 1 food picture..
luckily zd and yan made reservations yest, cuz the place was quite filled up. we had our private room too cuz the outside sitting arrangements could not accomodate 5 pax. good thing too, more privacy.
