Langkawi

## got very well rested during the whole trip.. had lots of good sleep and food.. drank lots of coffee liquor too.. tats y we need e slp? heh all in all it was a very relaxed feeling.. n nope. i din regret going on a trip with my baby! wad more can i ask fer? left all e worries behind in spore. no modules to think about. no ringing on e phones to disturb. no irritating pest (brother dearest) around. everything was done at our own pace. nice. plus got me got him. even better! haha. ##

DAY 1..21st Jul..Wed

went Delifrance fer breakfast first where we had Turkey Ham n Salmon. taste great! both of us packed light. each with one sling black bag. haha cuz we met up super early, we slowly made our way to Airport from je. *excited feeling*

we were still taking photos when its already -Last Call- was held up checking out my modules allocation from e comp there.. anw when we were checking in.. we realised there isnt anymore side by side seats left fer e 2 of us! was thinking -shit!-

den on e plane.. a very nice stewardess helped us look ard den finally directed us to 2 side by side seats.. she's reeeaallll helpful! =)

finally reached Langkawi~!!

since the resort was very near e airport.. e reached there in no time. max 5mins in fact. the first thing we did was to well.. put down stuff.. change n check out e beach. i was already pretty seh cuz woke up early n slpt late. so throwing everything to e room was a nice welcome! snapped e pic (left) while in e car.. moving fast but luckily still manged to catch e name of e resort.

we went down to Kuah Town, which is e main city area in Langkawi. It was abt 22 km from our area so took a cab down.. had dinner in this Chinese seafood makan place.. n ended up very full! we had sweetsour chillie crabs, fried sotong, kangkong, lemon chicken n deer meat. after e dinner.. we were 90 ringgit poorer n tat became our most expensive meal fer e rest of our stay.. haha. went jalan jalan.. checked out their stores. whah! lots of chocolates n liquor! being duty free all of those r selling at low prices.

its chilly walking on e streets at night. cold wind. done alittle shopping too. bought a bottle of Kahlua -coffee liquor- n 2 bottles of milk.. resisted the chocolates cuz we told ourselves - We'll be Back!

DAY 2..22nd Jul..Thurs

we went to the beach n basically slacked there fer the whole day... wanted to rent a car n go trvelling ard by ourselves one at first.. but seeing the price of the rental n also e fact none of us had a licence yet.. thus decided against it. travelling by cab gonna cost us a bomb as well.. so we did wad we had planned fer in e first place - beach bumming. the weather is hot hot hot.. we alternated between e beach n e pool to relieve e heat.. din get burnt though.. cuz sun isnt TAT hot plus we were under shades most of e time.

decided to hunt fer food after all these.. ended up trying e Teppanyakki they serve in e resort. interesting cuz i don't know if im having the set meal or e indiv meal.. hard to communicate. i cant speak malay n they (some only) dont seem to speak english.. decided to leave Kuah Town fer the next day where we'll be shopping.

n how could i forget.. at 1230am in e morn of 23rd.. i wished baby HAPPY 19th Months! great to be able to spend ours on a trip.. gave him a photo card.. something simple from my side.. but the surprised n happie look on his face is really priceless. tat meant alot to me -hugs-

DAY 3..23rd Jul..Fri

i've enjoyed e slackness n slow-paced lifestyle tat i really din wanna go.. sigh but still had to pack up n go home.. we checked out at 12 noon left our luggages in e hotel n left to town fer shopping. went down to Langkawi Fair which was e biggest shopping center there.. compared to Orchard it aint that big afterall ah. anw.. good to see -modern- things like shopping centre.. MacDonald's!!.. Adidas n Nike shops.. din buy much cuz nothing to buy? headed down to the chocolate n liquor stores n basically spent the rest of our moonies there.. i got a bottle of Vodka while dear got bottle of strawberry wine.. n the rest r chocolates chocolates.. *sinful*

realised we din take photos while on e move.. too ma fan bah.. thus we dont hav ANY shots of Kuah Town or of the night market or e pool at all! darn.. heh anw we compensated all those by taking loads of farnie shots.. all in all.. we took a grand total of 211 shots in 3 days! -power- on the way back while in e cab we were bored.. so took photos again!

cuz we got back to the resort earlier than expected.. so decided to shack out at the lobby. heck wad they say about looking nice n proper.. we both r too seh from the travelling. luckily the couch was quite at the back.. pple walking past here n there werent too bothered to check out the 2 sleeping pigs. heh in 2 days we finished 2 bottles of milk n half a bottle of Kahlua.

we were thinking of ways to "smuggle" 3 bottles of liquor back when only 2 r allowed.. (which was unduly jus e custom never check at all! ) anw did i mention how cheap e vodka was as compared to singapre's pricing? rm39 vs s$71.. *madness* anw bro was happie i bought tat.. he lurves drinking.. by tat time.. both of us r half seh..

even at the departure hall of langkawi airport.. we were still making lots of noise (*ahem* not me.. HIM!! haha..) waiting fer 845pm when e plane flies.. or so i thought.. at 815 the plane was still out of sight.. so is 830.. n finally.. the gates opened at 840pm. boarded the plane at last.. n home sweet home. p.s realli great. felt i've spent lots of quality time with my baby.. nice seeing him for so many days straight.. not tat we've not done tat before. but it feels different tis time.

back back back - ECP Photos

got back past midnight yesterdae.. flight got alittle delayed.. tired tired.. dad fetched us from MRT only though.. waiting fer photos to load up before i can host it.. haha dear came over cuz we had to repack our luggages.. all our clothings r jumbled into 1 bag.. aint nice repacking at Changi Airport so we decided to stay over at my house lo.. tats all fer now.. be back later tonight to blog after celebrating our belated 19th months!

early in e morn...

wahaha finally its e DAY.

anw.. i've jus started packing not too long ago.. time check : 12midnight
i've packed e toileteries items already... left with only e clothes.. n tats enough to bother me for e rest of e night. nothing much to bring seriously. mayb 3 shirts 2 shorts kinda thing. but being e really indecisive one who has too many favs tees.. cant decide wad to do... wahaha.

tis my first overseas trip (though malaysia) without parents or school accompanying me.. wad can i say? EXCITED!!!!! its another step towards freeeedom. more than often there'll be one long list of -things to do- pinned to e wall.. reminding me of wad i wanted to do most fer e hols while mugging fer exams.. n very often e list is very much forgotten. dont ask me how or why. im sure the same thing has happened to u before. happie to say i've done most of wad i've listed out. not all.. but most. n im proud to say that im glad we could make it together! least i noe i wont look back at tis hols in regret.. thinking of the many things i could hav done. n worse still.. i'd hav to wait fer another year before there's e 3 months hols break again.

its one of those rare days in end july when the sky is so wonderfully great. clear blue skies without any traces of white fluffy clouds to block the wondrous sun. n on such a nice day, i've got a bloody headache to spoil e mood. went to sch tis morn to config laptop to nusnet. think e guy worsen e condition of my comp speed. very l.a.g.g.y. worse come to worse, i'll jus delete wad he installed..

Monday, July 19 -

i lurve hols!

realised i hadnt updated my blog since e 15th. gosh tis goes to show how time flies. okay. went to tiong bahru market wth dear fer lunch on thurs. waha~ tat was yummy. hawker fare -delicious! once again we left feeling very full, like every other lunches we had together.. after tat go orchard to see Chai n Beng pierce their ears.. ouch. i wont do mine again. too pain!

16th fri
went bugis to shop fer clothes n dear's shopping fer berms. got 1 new bag n 2 white tops. see. thats how e moonies in my bank goes down so quickly. anw had fun poking ard n shopping. went to Sim Lims next to get e router so dear can link up e 2 comps to e Net. now its working wireless! pretty fun. all e hardwork not done by me though. my job's was making coffee n snacks only. heh. n before going home, we had to go down Chinatown to pick up our tickets.

yay! finally everything's confirmed. we're going to Langkawi tis Wed. feels great fer me. knowing that e 1 n a half mths i've worked wasnt fer nothing. least i could enjoy n savour e sweetness e -fruits- of my labour. everything's still going on pretty fast. haven started packing yet. dear's gonna bring his digicam. so hope we'll hav many nice pics! i can say parents aint too enthu abt the idea of us going alone. but haha since i've made all e arrangement before telling them. there isnt much they could do either. now they're ok already. mom even offered ( n i gladly accepted haha) to pay fer my share. lalala~ 2 more days!!!

anw while on e way home, i had fun bluejacking pple.sent many contacts to tis one person also in e mrt train. he looked pretty freaked out receiving msges from an -unknown- device (me!) i knew it was him cuz everytime my msg went thru, his eyes will dart left n right, looking very bewildered.. searching fer e person/machine sending him those stuff. wahaha super fun!

17th sat
went to ECP with dear, yan, zengdi, junjie. haha yan n i went rollar blading while e guys were playing frisbee (at first). heh hadnt been on e wheels since 9 years ago. desperately needed help!! haha so dear was in front of my guiding me along. i fell down twice. once when i lost control n fell on my bum. n e next when i tried getting up without having knee guards n fell back down again. guessed i would have hit e grounds even more times if not fer dear constantly looking out fer me. haha there was tis one really nice pose we were in when he caught me when i slipped. so paiseh! people walking by were applauding him fer the nice catch. haha well done babe! took many pics there. shall upload them up once yan sends me the lot. went to BBoss fer dinner -> Food (except calamari n fries) sucks. Service sucks more.

18th sun
parents aint home from malacca yet. so went out of house. was at causeway pt with dear n we saw liwei at sports link. ur hair grew longer le.. we chatted n crapped awhile den move off lo.. after tat we bummed at BB.. n took photos using my phone. see. tats wad pple do when they're crappy.

rainy days

been wanting to reformat my comp... n i finally did it on mon.. haha fer once i need not worry abt how to do it.. how to re install all e stuff.. can get it running smoothly.. cuz dear's around to make sure all's okay.. thank goodness fer tat! stayed up til abt 3 plus 4 in e morn to do file transfering.. reformating etc etc etc... n e freaking norton system scan -nightmare- mayb more nightmare fer dear than me.. since he's doing the most of e work.. though we've spent lots of time together recently.. im still treasuring every min of it.. trying to make each one well spent.. den today.. went to meet eli.. once again my timing was corked up.. not cuz im late.. but fer mistaking appointment times... anw we went shopping at Tang's.. had fun trying e clothes as usual.. n also got one spag top.. went Mango gai gai too.. got this 3 quarts which i tried.. fits pretty nicely.. but den being demin.. looks too casual ah.. being a new arrival.. its ex also! so i'll jus wait n see.. see if i like it enough to buy it...

had actually made great plans today... but den the rain spoilt it all.. but its okay cuz sleeping is really a nice activity too.. heh later in e noon we went to slack at je lib.. like being at their 4th level.. the teens area.. haha we're kinda over the age limit already.. easily being one of e oldest there.. but heck.. they've got big beanie bags to lay on.. can eat food n drink openly.. i like the concept.. new age library.. unlike last time at civics centre.. gotta be like fugitive.. eating n chewing discreetly.. but they lack powerpoints ah.. so cant charge laptops..

i've lost count of e days.. wkdays wkends all seem the same now.. noe i shdnt complain or lament abt the fact that im slackinig away now.. cuz when school term starts.. i'll really miss the freedom n the ample time at hand now.. SO a.p.p.r.e.c.i.a.t.e.....

i've slacked the whole day at home.. wahaha so i did wad i love best.. sleeping n sunning by e pool.. after one noon of lazing ard.. went to meet yan fer dinner at Orchard after her work.. had our favourite chicken rice! 2 gers eating the share fer 3 pple.. ended up being very full.. but heck.. it was in e name of good fun.. n good food! went shopping at Mango n Nike n Levi's.. guessed we had the most fun trying on e clothes.. n sigh.. guilty guilty tried this Nike top.. very nice very comfy.. n i bought tat. be it impulse or wad.. i lurvee it!

dear wanted to dye his hair.. heh he got 2 other frens to accompy him n asked if i wanted to -view- the process.. haha of cuz i want.. so we went to Giant in e morn with Chai n Hong Yun to get the hair dye.. den all went over to dear's house to dye his hair.. wahaha had fun with the video clip functions.. took lots of those ard.. interesting.. watched -Home on e Range- again to kill time.. heh now baby's hair got a tinge of brown in it.. nice~
